Radio Guidance and Radar
The Germans built many different Radar and Radio Guidance installations in
Normandy.
Most are built near the coast and on high ground because of the limited range of the early equipment.
Because of this they were relatively easy for the Allies to spot from the air.
On the build up to D-day most were put out of action.
