This position has had some erosion and only the western end remains intact. The lifeguard station in picture two was originally the bunker for the 50mm KwK gun, and was converted in the 1960's. This area was manned by the 7th Company of the 736th Regiment, although there was also a battalion of eastern volunteers from the Ost Battalion 441.
